Eccentric Viewing Program
 

Do you suffer from central vision loss? Blink offers an 8-week program designed to improve your reading speed and reduce the font size you read. After an initial Low Vision Assessment, we will assess your eligibility for the program. The program includes:

  • Education of your vision impairment for you and your family

  • Determining goals

  • Identifying best Trained Retinal Locus

  • Trained Retinal Locus Practice and progression activities to equip clients to eccentrically view across a range of real-life activities

Scanning program

Do you bump into things, or struggle to locate things? You may have reduced peripheral vision. Blink offers an 8-week scanning program aimed to improve the management of your blind spot.

After an initial Low Vision Assessment, we will assess your eligibility for the program. The program includes:

  • Education of your vision impairment for you and your family

  • Determining goals

  • Identifying and learning your visual field loss

  • Scanning techniques for both near & distance

  • Progressive activities to improve your confidence and increase your independence
